DIAPER DRIVE AND WRAP
Saturday and Sunday, March 3-4
This is a kick-off event for the "40 for 40" initiative!
Bring new unopened diapers to weekend Masses on March 3-4 and place them in the Pack-n-Play that will be in the foyer. Stay after 7, 9, and 11am Sunday Masses to help us bundle them into packages of 12 to be delivered to several area organizations that help families in need.
"40 for 40" SERVICE INITIATIVE
"40 for 40" is a parish-wide service initiative at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Starting March 5, 2018, we are encouraging all of our parish families to engage in 40 hours of service over the next 40 days (until April 14, 2018).
Our hope is that by engaging in service, you will not only help those in need, but you will also grow in your Christian faith and want to share it with others.
LENT CONFESSION SCHEDULE
There will be additional confessions during Lent and some days without confessions.
Monday-Friday: 7:00-8:00am
Saturday 2:00-3:30pm
Starting Thursday, February 15 and ending on Thursday, March 22:
Confessions after 6:15pm Mass on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Ash Wednesday is not a Holy Day of Obligation, but it is the start of the season of Lent and an important day in the life of the Church.

VALENTINES CARD PARTY AND DESSERT
Council of Catholic Women will hold their annual Valentine Card Party and Dessert on Feb. 7, 2018 from 12:00 noon until 4:00 PM in St. John's Hall. Be sure to call ahead for your tickets so your table will be set up and ready for you. Tickets are $5.00 and may be purchased the weekend of Feb. 3 and 4 after Masses, at the door on Feb. 7th, or by calling Roberta @ 970-667-3802. Your $5.00 donation gets you dessert, an afternoon of cards, and a chance at one of many door prizes.
