RE Volunteer Opportunities
Many thanks to all of our catechists and aides who volunteered for the 2008-2009 school year! If you are interested in being a catechist, aide, or volunteer with RE for the 2009-2010 school year, please contact Director of Religious Formation, August Cordova, at 635-5818.
Religious Formation Registration Please contact our Religious Formation Secretary, Monica Mills, at 635-5817 to fill out an "Intent to Register 2009-2010" form if you are interested in registering for RE, First Communion/First Reconciliation, Confirmation, EDGE, or LIFE TEEN for the 2009-2010 school year. Please note: Children must successfully complete 1st grade RE to be eligible to prepare for First Communion during their second grade year. Confirmation will be celebrated starting in 9th grade. Candidates will be required to have completed a year of preparation in the 8th grade Junior Formation Program prior to receiving the sacrament of Confirmation in the 9th grade. Candidates will be required to complete a year of preparation in Life Teen if they are in 9th through 11th grades during 2009-2010 school year. A copy of your child's baptismal certificate will be required for both First Communion and Confirmation registration. A copy of the child's First Communion certificate and sponsor recommendation form will also be required for Confirmation registration. TOTUS TUUS
	Mark your calendars! Our Parish Summer Catechetical Program: Totus Tuus (Latin for Totally Yours) will be offered July 12-17, 2009. The Grade School Program (1st – 6th grades for 2009-2010 school year) will meet from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Junior and senior high school youth (7th — 12th grades for 2009-2010 school year) will meet 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday night through Thursday night. The cost will be $25.00 for the entire week. Space will be limited and on a first come first serve basis. Registrations are available in the parish office. Host Families Needed! We are need of three more host families to provide housing for the Totus Tuus Team during the week and families to sign up to provide lunch and dinner throughout the week.
