A Program of Prayer and Service

The Legion of Mary is an association of Catholic lay people who work as instruments of the Holy Spirit and serve the Church through a program of prayer and service. The Legion meets once each week for prayer, planning and discussion in a family setting. We also do two hours of work each week in pairs under the guidance of our spiritual director. Work includes visiting parishioners, prison ministry, visiting the sick or aged, religious education, visiting the newly baptized and meeting the other spiritual needs of the parish community. Guests are always welcome and can go on one of the work assignments with an experienced member if they choose.
